The candidate will: - Perform enterprise and system architectural concept, definition and design activities. - Demonstrate a practical understanding of SOA-based systems implementations to include ESB and interoperability capabilities. - Construct overall system architecture of a number of software intensive application systems. - Participate in systems and software requirements, design, development reviews, and integration readiness reviews. - Support proposal efforts on new business opportunities. - Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. - Represent the organization in providing high operational availability solutions to difficult technical problems associated with specific projects. - Research current and future technological developments and applications. Requirements: - A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, plus 10-12 years of relevant work experience, working in large scale information system architectures are required. - Practical experience architecting in a Microsoft .Net framework including Visual Studio development environment, ASP technology, XML and C# programming skills are required. - A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle methodologies is necessary. - MCSD certification is a plus.
