The JSEAS effort is a joint venture among the US Navy, US Air Force, and UK Ministry of Defense to develop safe escape and mission planning products for the JSF aircraft. Will likely be assigned to support the development of a major JSEAS system and a specific JSEAS Team Lead, but may occasionally be assigned to work on tasks for other JSEAS software systems. Given the nature of software development and the IT industry in general, there is an expectation that this person shall be willing to research new IT technologies, trends, and issues at the request of project managers. Must be prepared to accept tasking and work effectively with a culturally and geographically diverse team and to support regular team meetings. Good communication skills are important. Experience with formal CS education or by a more experienced professional with a mix of formal CS education/training and on-the-job experience. • Follow organizational standards and procedures for software development and modification, Contribute to software design using OO principles.,Contribute to software documentation., Contribute to sub-system development (coding), Participate in code reviews., Perform sub-system unit testing and documentation., Participate in sub-system integration., Perform analysis of software to determine the causes for defects found by production analysts and testers., Develop recommendation for modifying software, Prepare written statements to document analysis and recommendations., Implement modifications to software., Participate in generation of software documentation products including requirements specification, design description, interface description, test plans, and users manuals., Attend meetings, record notes, and potentially prepare/deliver presentations., Potentially participate in planning and execution of testing plans. • A four-year degree preferably with a major in computer science, but optionally a four-year technical degree. • Formal education/training or substantial on-the-job experience in C#/.NET and object oriented design. • Formal education/training or substantial on-the-job experience developing graphical user interfaces using .NET programming languages. • Experience performing software debugging and debugging techniques preferably in C#/.NET. • Formal education/training or substantial OJT experience in managed and/or unmanaged C++. • Formal education in mathematics, mechanics, physics, and/or engineering. • Experience in high level and architectural software design. •please send resumes to: fabiola.mariscal@craigtechinc.com or email me for details.   Cancel
