Sharepoint Systems Administrator
Job Description:
The Sharepoint Systems Administratorposition manages all aspects of the SharePoint Administration architecture and provides day-to-day administration and support for a SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and SharePoint Services 2.0 farm. In addition, you will have a diverse set of tasks that will give you an opportunity to support and optimize various web application environments in addition to SharePoint.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsibility for design, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and security of a Windows SharePoint Farm
· Define architecture and infrastructure for improving or replacing systems including Portal, Intranet and Custom Applications.
· Troubleshoot SharePoint application issues.
· Work with other IT team members and outside vendors on SharePoint projects, providing knowledge transfer as needed.
· Advise on alternate methods of resolving issues and recommend specific solutions.
