The Public Health Solutions Business Unit of SAIC is supporting a federal public health agency whose mission is to improve the health of the nation’s underserved populations. This agency recruits clinicians to work in areas of need and provides support for them. SAIC will be working on an aggressive schedule to modernize the information systems and data that support our customer’s complete operations.

This position is contingent upon contract reward.

The new systems must:
• support the agency as described in a documented concept of operations
• satisfy requirements currently being addressed in a number of legacy systems, including legacy data migration
• conform to the department and agency enterprise architecture constraints and requirements
• comprise an optimal mix of COTS, custom development and integration with external systems
• adapt well to future changes in policy, organizational structure and technology

The SharePoint Developer will be an integral member of the project’s Application Team. The candidate will work closely with the Application Lead and other team members to design, develop, and administer an enterprise SharePoint Portal that integrates with multiple COTS products. Candidate will be responsible for:
• Design, develop and administer portal for external users with Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) and Microsoft Forms Server
• Design, develop and administer portal for internal users with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007.
• Collaborate with the functional team to develop and support business functions
• Design portal components (Web parts)
• Customize SharePoint sites
• Integrate SharePoint with Global 360 BPM
• Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft BizTalk
• Provide production support, including troubleshooting issues.

Candidate must have excellent technical skills to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Position requires good communication and interpersonal skills.

This position requires US citizenship or permanent resident status.

Education/Skills
Education: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or similar degree related to Information Technology plus 5 years experience developing web-based applications.

Required Skills: Candidates must have at least 5 years of progressive experience designing, developing and successfully deploying web app
