Aquilent is currently recruiting for a Web Application Developer with experience in ASP.NET & C#. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting multiple applications for our client, Department of Labor, in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will design and implement functionality using phased delivery schedules, prototype new functionality for user feedback, identify new production environment requirements, and contribute to user documentation and training materials.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
* C#, ASP.NET, ASP, SQL Server
* Demonstrated experience with full SDLC.
* Expertise in use of the Visual Studio .NET toolset.
* Configuration of the .NET framework.
* Developing and deploying web services.
* Configuring and assessing Internet Information Server (IIS).
* Developing and writing application design and configuration documents at a proficient level.
* Ability to work closely and effectively within a small/medium sized development team.
* A person of this level would be expected to be able to take design responsibility for functionality.
* Ability to quickly gather and apply technical/domain knowledge about existing systems. Designing, analyzing and developing system applications as needed to support business solutions initiatives.
Education/Certifications
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related professional experience.
