We have an immediate opening for an experienced programmer/manager in our headquarters office located in Arlington (Rosslyn), Virginia. This is a fantastic opportunity that does not come around often!
Primary responsibilities include:
As Manager of the Systems Group, this position calls for a hands-on application programmer who will be engaged in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. This includes but is not limited to:
- producing effective systems designs and documentation
- delivering new applications to specification
- writing necessary code
Leading a team of three programmers, this individual is responsible for the architecture, design and development, security, operational integrity, system support and maintenance across the organization's IT environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Programming, Information Technology or related field
- A minumum fo five years programming experience for a financial services firm
- Significant exposure to Charles River Order Management System (preferred)
- Microsoft Certified Solution Developer
- Knowledge or professional certification in Finance (such as CFA) woudl be extremely beneficial
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A team player
