Scott is a Principal Consultant with Excella Consulting (www.excella.com) where he leads Excella's Microsoft Center of Excellence and is a member of Excella's Management Team. He started his career with Tidewater Consultants Inc. in Arlington in 1996. After TCI was purchased by Mantech International in 1998, he moved to OSP Consultants Inc. in Sterling, VA where he was a Senior Developer/Team Leader for 3 years. Scott held a position as Manager for Application Development with the American Red Cross in Washington, D.C. for 5 1/2 years. During that time Scott was involved with some of the largest disaster relief operations in history. His technical background includes SharePoint, .Net, SQL Server, C#, ASP.Net, Office Development and other Microsoft technologies. Scott has a BS degree in Management Information Systems from Gannon University and is an MCPD and Microsoft C# MVP (5 years).

Brian Noyes, Microsoft Regional Director, MVP

Brian is CTO at Solliance (www.solliance.net), a Microsoft Regional Director and MVP. He specializes in building maintainable client applications in XAML and HTML 5, as well as building the services that back them with WCF, ASP.NET Web API, and Windows Azure. Brian has authored several books including Developer’s Guide to Microsoft Prism 4, Data Binding with Windows Forms 2.0, and Smart Client Deployment with ClickOnce. He publishes articles frequently in a variety of publications and speaks at conferences worldwide including Microsoft TechEd, DevConnections, DevIntersection, VSLive!, DevTeach and others. Brian got started programming as a hobby while flying F-14 Tomcats in the U.S. Navy, later turning his passion for software into his current career. Halford ("Hal") I. Hayes, MCP

Senior Software Engineer, Progressive Data Systems, Inc., formerly Principal Consultant at ACRITECH Corporation, developing applications in ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server technologies, including DotNetNuke, XQuery, SQLCLR, and SSIS. Hal has been working in client-server development since 1994. Hal has worked on commercial, and government software projects. Background includes middleware applications, large-scale client-server systems, high performance computing, computer vision, pattern recognition, shrink-wrapped software, and GIS. Hal has a BS, and MS in Computer Science from Old Dominion University and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia, and holds an MCP Certifications in ASP.Net Web Development, Visual Basic and MS SQL Server. Hal recently retired as a Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve, after serving tours including Mission Commander for the Navy's E-2C Hawkeye, executive officer of several reserve units, and commanding officer of a reserve unit at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia.
